Sunday, May 3, 2015 - A bit surprised by the wine. I got mostly floral notes - lavender, violet, some earthy notes as well. Not sure where the fruit notes were. Ok, but on taste not much fruit - more tannin oriented with the flower notes there as well. Perhaps the tannins hiding the fruit a bit. As it opened some damson notes. Nice chalky finish though. I miss the fruit or vegies, a bit to floral for my taste.
