Saturday, April 16, 2016 - Full of wild and pure dark fruits, very plummy with hints of prune and that slightly bitter edge from plum skins. Medicinal at times with a very pronounced aniseed back palate, the finish is well structured with firm acidity and resinous tannins. I think this still needs time to develop, but with food it's very lively in the meantime.
