Sunday, April 19, 2015 - For whatever reason, this wine made more of an impression on me this time than last. But wines often seem to behave differently outdoors (poolside this time) than indoors. Or, maybe my palate does. Anyway, the wine shows vivid, crunchy red fruit and spice on the nose and palate, with sinewy tannins that suggest 5-7 years is do-able in terms of aging. It's still wound up a bit but makes for delightful drinking. Another winner from Ridge.
