Monday, April 1, 2024 - My first of 2 bottles. 100% Syrah aged in chestnut and oak barrels. Not decanted. Garnet color with a little bricking on the edges. Moderate to heavy sediment which my Nephew partially drank since he decided to pour the bottom of the bottle into his glass when I wasn't around. Notes of licorice, dark berries and some bacon fat. The finish was a bit spicy. 91 points.
