Sunday, November 27, 2011 - Light red at the rim. A medium ruby color; has some reddish characteristics as if bricking may be in its initial stage. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, some cherry, leather, spice, oak, a tad of graphite. Medium concentration and depth of fruit. A decent finish. Pairs nicely with prime rib-eye. I recall consuming this wine in 2006 - it was extremely approachable and fat then. Seems just a little leaner now, but still quite nice. In June 2010, I rated this wine 93.
