Tuesday, April 4, 2017 - Popped and poured, followed over a couple of hours with a meal. Good cork, typical Left Bank deep red. Perfumed in the Margaux manner. Sweet berries and cocoa, but the rusticity is noticeable: not sure if I'd call it a distraction so much as a feature, but it makes the drinking experience a bit less seamless than it otherwise could be. So 91-92, but delicious and pleasurable. In the back end of its drinking window, but no rush; drink or hold.
