Friday, September 1, 2017 - Decanted and drank over 3 hours. Nose seems a bit subdued and not as explosive as memory holds, yet very elegant with cedar, graphite, black raspberries, and a hint of floral (rose petal perhaps?). Softened and well rounded now. Tannins refines with no hard edges, yet enough backbone to support and carry all into a satisfying finish. Still a pleasure. Last bottle of four. The previous three drank better, IMO, in 2008, 2010 & 2013. The bottle consumed in 2010 is still one of my all round favorite bottles in the last decade.
