91 Points

Friday, April 9, 2010 - Popped and poured. Nose: Big white pepper and garrique with some other spices and herbs present. Palate: Fairly rich mouthfeel with the white pepper, spice and herbs showing and some faint red fruits on the finish. Good acidity that integrates with the fruit with air and becomes less dominant. Good tannins and a medium length finish. Not the most massive Donjon but drinking well now and probably has another 3-5 years (unless you like your CDPs really aged). Based on other Donjon vintages good but not great.
