Friday, January 3, 2014 - A Forgotten Event (Unknown): This is one of the most engaging NV Champagnes I have had the pleasure of drinking on a consistent basis. The nose showed attractive, almost red-fruited scents of berries and cherries along with deeper appley aromas, a little floral hint and a good hit of mineral. The palate had a nicely substantial feel to it, with a real depth behind its round, fleshy notes of berry flesh draped in a fine mousse and spiked with fresh, lemony acidity. The generous finish tailed off nicely with a line of mineral and spice. Very good.
