Friday, February 19, 2021 - Opened to breathe for 4h. Wow, what a beautiful wine. Expansive fragrant nose of roses, mineral, and vanilla; on the palate smooth red and dark cherries, tar, mineral, camphor, potting soil, refined tannins, acid in the finish. Medium bodied. Smooth and classy, like a lady in a black evening dress, great fruit, great complexity, evokes the very best of the Langhe. Tonight with grilled chicken. Glad I have more. Drink or hold. Or drink. 94/95
