Friday, February 2, 2007 - Decanted about 3 hours. A generous mix of pepper and leather greet the nose, followed by loads of black currant and plum, plus a dash of rose petals and vanilla. The palate is silky smooth, and has lots of dark berry fruit and pepper, as well as a bit of leather and spice. The tannins are very firm, and the finish lasts a long time.
