Friday, November 7, 2014 - A solid if unexciting Beaujolais. The nose is typical with strawberries, cherries/ Maraschino, and a hint of earthiness. On the palate a medium - plus body, with similar levels of acidity, and flavours of dried cherries and red fruits with that characteristic peppery quality at the back of the throat. Finish is medium. Slips down easily with food and is still young so should last another 2-3 years.
