Tuesday, November 11, 2014 - This is my first experience of this négociant, who is talked of as up-and-coming by the French wine press. This wine is medium bodied and linear in shape with black fruit, pepper, lively acidity, slightly grainy texture and mineral backbone. Normally I give St.Joseph more age and get greater complexity but right now this one was lively and quite elegant drinking with veal liver, onions and French beans. Good enough for me to look for more of this négociant's products.
