Tuesday, January 11, 2011 - Light orange rim, clean and clear. Showing sensationally well: On the nose medicinal notes, tea, iodine, some farmyard. Lovely entry to the palate, fresh, iodine, even fruit, round and mouthfilling. A gorgeous sweetness, tea, balanced acidity, tobacco, liquorice. Very surprising, lovely length. Keeping in astonishing form all evening. It was drunk at a small privat tasting and everyone was delighted. Wouldn't have believed it otherwise. What style! Forget modern winemaking... From an excellent cellar. 12,5% alc.
