Saturday, November 6, 2021 - The nose is shy, but could be coaxed after a long time in the glass- cherry, green pepper, black pepper, tobacco, and hints of earth, leather and graphite. The wine is dominated by tannins at this stage, but the finish is long, revealing unripe red fruit and earthy tones. Way too young at this juncture in its life…another 5-10 years before my next bottle.
