Sunday, May 22, 2011 - Delicious! It came in second in our Judgment of Ballston blind tasting of 12 Left-Bank style reds from the US and France, but it was #1 on my ballot. I was really impressed by this wine. Very expressive killer nose of red/dark fruit and cocoa with a palate that backs it up. I guessed it was from CA and even guessed that it was either Anderson's Conn Valley or Ridge. I also noted that it was the most "expensive-tasting" wine, and it was the most expensive wine in our tasting, at least based on release price. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
