Etain which was a fun comparison. the nose on this is mesmerizing: cedar, fruit, herbs, and tobacco. there is still substantial tannin and acid but the fruit is there and is lovely, dark and brooding. i think cabs can grow tiresome with food but this is just singing and keeps me coming back. really a nice pure expression of the dark, briary fruit of the SCM. i will keep buying this as long as they let me.
