Friday, September 20, 2013 - gorgeous. deep garnet in the glass. nose of dark, briary fruit, cedar, pipe tobacco, and roasted herbs. prominent tannin profile which is to be expected but with richness, depth, and complexity of fruit to balance it out. this wine has a long life ahead. enjoyed with friends on our wedding night. spectacular.
