Wednesday, September 10, 2008 - I would agree with Jdunnack and others this is a nice wine that while big and rich, is also impeccably balanced, pure and precise. The nose shows beautiful blackberry and currant aromas mixed with leather, smoke, stone, cigar tobacco with some oak and vanilla notes. The palate is medium to full bodied with beautifully rich fruit, solid structure, outstanding texture and a long finish with medium firm tannins, this will hold for years to come. Purchased at the Waterboy (wine list) in Sacramento, Ca.
