Nice balance although I think the fruit would give this away as a new world cab in a blind tasting. In a flight with '05 Dominus (which I might have picked as a Bordeax blind) and Montelena, I think in the end this was my favorite (although the Montelena showed better earlier as this one took longer to open up - and in the end the Montelena was still a very strong contender vs. the Monte Bello in my view). Great wine with a long life ahead. A
