Thursday, December 30, 2010 - Deep purple color. Sweet blackberry and leather aroma. Jammy, mouth filling, chewy blackberry with a little zest as an after-note. Robust but nicely rounded tannins and a medium to long finish. The pepper on the finish I noted 15 mos ago on the last one of these I opened is gone now - for the better.
