Saturday, May 29, 2021 - Lighter bodied but not delicate is the balance this wine brings. Some Central Coast syrahs can have the viscosity of motor oil, but this wine is not that. Beautiful dark maroon in the glass with some earthiness and black fruit on the nose. There is an initial hit of black cherry, dark fruit and a mid-palate of sweet cassise all with silky smooth tannins. Time has been wonderful to this bottle and it is just now showing its full potential.
