Saturday, October 22, 2011 - Decanted for 1 hour and served with beef tenderloin. Slow out of the gate but once it warmed to room temp this Cab was singing. Solid dark fruit, coffee/mocha mix and hints of spice on the nose. On the attack the fruit carried on with dark cherry and perhaps raspberry, coffee and more mocha and the mid palate. Well structured, tame tannin and drinking very well right now. Should hold for several more years!
