The 15% oak aging imparts a rounded mouthfeel to this wine. Not much cut. But quite nice on the palate, with round, golden fruit, and good texture. I prefer wines with more cut and acidity, e.g., unoaked Vernaccia, but this was nice. Outside at Fietri, Gaiole in Chianti, with Greg, in the rain.
