Friday, June 26, 2020 - This was a very good port, however quite more developed than a 1977 Gould Campbell opened recently, and noticeably behind it in terms of quality. Quite muted on the nose, even after a 5 hour decant, and at the lighter end of the spectrum in colour, but with a luscious, textured mouthfeel. The fruit is beginning to fade a touch and the alcohol is beginning to become a little dominant. Very enjoyable though. Drink over the next 5-10 years maximum.
