Monday, April 21, 2008 - Popped and poured 24 hours after it arrived from the west coast, and after a 3 hour car trip. Basically i was making sure it wasnt "heat affected" as it was shipped with some pricier wines. Has very nice dark fruits, well-integrated oak, and not at all "hot" for the vintage. Certainly New World characteristics, but i've not had this before so i cant comment on prior vintages. Good value.
