Saturday, May 9, 2015 - Decanted 1hr, but please give this a lot more air if you are opening this anytime soon. The only thing that betrayed this as a product of a warm forward vintage was the dark color of the wine, otherwise.....first sip had terrific grip in the mouth, takes a firm hold, then slowly unleashes a medley of violets, pressed berries, and an emerging taste of grilled red meat. medium in body and tannic structure. Back half and finish show some well used wood, and adding touch of richness on the finish. A whopping 13.9% alc on the label. Should age AND develop well. I would hazard a guess that Mr. Harrington is rather pleased on how this IM turned out, I sure was.
