The nose of my bottle had a distinctive medicinal smell almost as if the alcohol had over take the fruit.. shame it was my last bottle. Colour ruby red -yes - so it hadn't been oxidized. I did get a hint of raisins on the nose and palate. However, the comment of " fruit explosion - lots of berry's - strawberry all over" I did NOT get. Suspect it was mine... wish I had had his bottle!
