Saturday, January 2, 2021 - Bottle had slight older seepage so I opened now rather than holding. Needn’t have worried - wine was in top condition. Decanted for 5 hours and out on substantial weight. Similar to my last experience with Graham’s 1970: lush waves of primarily red fruit - strawberry, darker plums, cherry - but with notable development - soft leather, dark chocolate, fig notes and a light mint element; spirit was very well integrated and the tannins soft. This is past the voluptuous stage but was still 50 years young really ****1/2-*****
