Big, solid frame of red cherry and raspberry fruit, with intense layers of forest fire, black tea, cinnamon, and Asian spice. That very distinct SRH character is apparent. Very pleasant, but in no way delicate. Long, drying finish, with a touch of heat showing. Some upside remains; this wine needs more years in the bottle before it plateaus. This was an absolute steal at $28 two years ago.
