Wednesday, December 30, 2015 - Nose of dried flowers and spice leads into a front of rich raspberry and cherry flavors. Rich notes red fruit mingle with modest acidity in the mid while a bit of tannin and rhubarb complement the fairly long finish. There is just enough acid in this wine to keep it in fair balance despite its serious punching weight. Definitely new world in style, alc. Is 14.5. And clones are Dijon 777 and 115. At $ 20 QPR is damn good.
