Sunday, April 24, 2011 - a fabulous wine. decanted 2 hrs before drinking. Deep purple color. nose: wonderful fruit (boysenberry hints of raspberry) and spice. on the palate: lots of wonderful ripe fruit, some spice. good balance. beautiful long finish. Very drinkable now, but a few more years will make it dynamite. paired will grilled leg of lamb.
