Sunday, November 25, 2007 - Takes about 45 minutes to open up, and the wine goes from viscous and indeterminate and heavy to something that's lighter and cleaner and more pronounced in what it has to say. The nose is light and airy and light-red colored and the length is long and very well defined - earth and mushrooms and light red fruit. Very nice. The mouth is full and a bit angular, with intense red fruit (canned cherries and cranberries, mainly) with some pepper and some dirt. A nice effort.
