Saturday, May 16, 2015 - Color: medium-deep ruby core -> diffuse light ruby rim. Bouquet of cherries, tar and a touch of iodine. Palate is approachable now with a delicious rusticity. Sour cherries, earth, appreciable but not overbearing tannins and a pleasantly long finish. For me, this overdelivers for the reasonable price. May have to go back to get more and let sit for awhile as I foresee this increasing in score given a few years.
