Wednesday, July 6, 2016 - Just took delivery on this one. Dark purple. Relatively deep and opaque for my experience on Southern Rhone. Flows a bit to red/magenta at the rim but holds coloer. Suggests youth. 2013 so that's right. moderately limpid. Legs form and sit on the rim.

Bouquet is faint. Hints of strawberry, cherry and licorice just kind of tease the olfactory senses. Whats there I find pleasant but it is faint. Palate hits much bigger than the bouquet as if it was hiding something. Good acidity with moderate tannins. Core red fruits and touch of that licorice. Nothing really novel. Balance is nice. Finish fades a bit quickly but hold up well. Good solid Southern Rhone for every day. Well worth 15.
