Saturday, March 24, 2012 - PnP. Medium garnet color, faded transitions to the rim. Fresh aromas of cherry, strawberry and red floral dominate at first. The medium-bodied palate is very fresh, tart even, with a persistent citric tang that adds to the overall character. Handsomely composed, this has several more solid years ahead of it. Prolly best to aerate at this stage for at least 30 minutes, for full effect. More old world than new on this showing. Great poise and persistence. 14,5% abv, score: B+/A-
