Sunday, November 19, 2023 - Enjoyed over five nights. Unlike some other recent 10 year tawnies which I’ve enjoyed, this actually exhibits a true deep tawny color and not a pale ruby color. Complex aromas and flavors: toasted walnuts, stewed figs, sweet dates, chewy raisins, maple syrup, and fresh honey. Structure provided balance; persistent acidity supports a long finish. Excellent with the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.
