Monday, August 20, 2018 - Opened and glass decanted to pair with roasted squash, corn and sausage soup. A medium ruby with thinning edges in the glass. Very aromatic nose, with bright cherry, raspberry, touch of stems, violets and tinge of baking spices. Medium-bodied, with excellent intensity and concentration, and a long, drawn out finish. This was simply stunning, and I would gladly drink plenty more of this but, alas, our last bottle!
