Monday, December 12, 2011 - A bit subdued on the nose, showing cherry liquor notes with some spice. The palate is refined and subtle with aromatic raspberry compote, asian spice and brambles. Well balanced and certainly a fine wine, but not what I was expecting after all the good press. Perhaps a little shut down?
