Friday, November 23, 2012 - This was excellent. Dark ruby color and typical Pegau nose. The funk quickly blew off and this was smooth and rich, with cassis, hay, earth and berry notes. Tannins are well-integrated, but I think this is just hitting its stride. Great for thanksgiving!

11/24/2012 10:34:00 PM - Yum, I love this wine. It can still be pretty uncivilized at times -- such a massively concentrated wine. However based on your note and some of my own recent tastes, it does seem like it's turning the corner and getting to that fun midlife stage.
