Saturday, August 24, 2013 - Ruby with garnet rim. Heady aromas of raspberry, fig, and (with time) some garrigue. Juicy and succulent but not heavy. Rich, roasted fruit saved by surprising acidity, tobacco notes, and herbal complexity. Long, earthy finish without any sense of heat. Superb bottle.
