While the first was open about 2 ½ hours (not decanted), the second was immediately pored into glasses as we chatted over the moose sausage. It was equally astounding. Nearly identical to the first bottle. On the nose, the dried violets, forest floor, herbs, dark spices, and bramble together with loads of currents and cherries. In the mouth a penetrating and saturating taste of late season red berries, captivating smoked richness and body.
