Sunday, June 21, 2015 - Decanted for a few hours late morning, then back in bottle and served later in the evening. Wowza. My boys Dirty & Rowdy make singular wines. They are full of energy, a kaleidoscope of flavors, and at once challenging and surprising. Out of the gate, this spoke of a big, rich, New World-ish Chardonnay. 15 minutes later, it was rocks and mountain streams and steely acidity. Cool lemon and a cascade of clean, crisp waves of energy. A lovely wine that walks a fine and mysterious line between here and there and then and now. Inspiring. Glad to have more.
