Saturday, June 21, 2014 - Dark deep crimson with garnet rim. The intense nose makes you first think you're sitting next to a bunch of flowers; intensely floral, fresh lilies and also dried flowers, evolving with time to notes of pencil shavings. Underlying this are cassis and red fruit notes. In the mouth, this is incredibly aromatic. Full bodied, meaty, but not at all heavy (it only has 12.5 alcohol). Fantastically long finnish that seems to come back in waves. A marvelous wine.
