It captures the spirit of what a Bourgogne should be - a wine for uncomplicated drinking while waiting for the more exalted wines to mature - while still having an identity of its own. I am particularly enamored of the weightless palate presence that conveys more than ample flavor, right through the red fruit and orange peel finish.
