Sunday, April 19, 2015 - Impressive deep purple-ruby. Thick legs. Nose is tight and only in small doses does it give up hints of purple fruits and violets. Big wine in the mouth, earthy, tannic, and quite rugged and rustic. And yet it has been open for nearly a day! There is plenty to like in this wine for $7.99, but give it time to open and pair it with a big, juicy steak. 4-12-14-6: 86/100.
