Wednesday, June 17, 2015 - Great classic California Cab. Looks and taste 10 years younger, I don't think this wine is near its peak; will last another 15-20 years for sure. Perfectly balanced, complex (just not as complex as the Montrose 1989 we had the same night) with slight barnyard notes, blackcurrant and dark chocolate. Tannins are supple and it offers great depth. Long finish. A really special wine.
