Thursday, December 16, 2010 - Decanted for sediment, then consumed over approximately 4 hours along side a 99 Monprivato.

Initially nose showed some old, stewed fruit though this quickly blew off. Nice tar, leather on the nose.

Tannins came out more with time, started quite soft, really filled out after about 1 hr in the glass/decanter. Nice wine all in all, I would say based on this bottle in a pretty great place for drinking now, though don't have enough experience to know if much upside really exists.
