This wine struck me as if it was just waking up from a long slumber. I would not be surprised if this was shut down completely 6 months ago. Only beginning to show earthy tones underneath the acidic licorice, strawberry, and tarry notes. Definitely needs a few more years. I liked this wine but do not expect it to be one of the great CF's.
