Tuesday, January 29, 2013 - Pale yellow color with perhaps even a tinge of rose (imagination?). Mostly pinot munier and pinot noir, which showed in the brioche and yeast-focused nose supported by ripe pear, baked apple, lemon, and a hint of earth. Delicious, fine bubbles and enough acid to balance the fruit. Was an amazing match with lentil soup.
